[WM] Winter Wonderland (Write-Up for The Long Way Home)

The Long Way Home
Players: Josh Z. (Sawyer), Savannah S. (Tiff), Idan H. (Fib), Jacob S. (Esuna), Brandon Q. (Ziggy)
"So, it started out simple enough-- we're goin' with a priest to his hometown in Kostroma to help with some kinda demon problem. Usual business, y'know? This was the first time I've ever been up there, and good god it was freezing. I dunno how people live durin' those winters."
"He's a Civous guy, left home because there wasn't much fer him back there. Some kinda family drama-- somethin' to do with what happened to his friend. She made a deal with a devil, he killed the devil to break it, and that ended up gettin' him into hot water with his wife, but the town worshiped him. So they were lookin' fer him to handle whatever issue popped up."
"Boat ride took ages, but it wasn't too bad-- I knew everyone on board this time at least. We landed on the coast and headed towards the town on foot-- half of the town had been evacuated 'cause of the demons, so we met up with the townsfolk in the eastern side."
"His mom and uh... his mom's husband were there, more drama, but they gave us most of the details on where the demons were. Scoutin' the area wasn't hard, there were these like... shadow people... some goat guys... Nothin' too tough to deal with, but we spent a lotta time lookin' around fer them."
"Now, Esuna, bless her heart, is set on not killin' these things. I understand where Noizu and the rest are comin' from with not killin' people, but I mean, these are demons. I don't think we gotta feel guilty about it. She's interrogatin' them mostly, a lot of 'em have different stories and aren't too keen on peacefully givin' up."
"We head down to the general store, kill some demons over there, and Nyx hears somethin' hidin' in there. She starts sniffin' around, and that's where she finds the girl. Wants to run away from home on account of... accidental god powers? I ain't sure how it works, you'd know better than I would. I dunno what we do with her, so she sticks around and hangs back fer now."
"After we clear out the general store, we take a break in his old house. It's, uh, kinda awkward with his folks there, but it's over with quick enough. Last spot is the temple, there's a li'l bit tougher one down there, but Tiff managed to finish him. There was some weird orb in there too-- I scanned it, and apparently it's meant to attract demons to yer location. Someone left it there to get all these things into town, and we still dunno why."
"All's said and done when the girl says she still wants to go. Ain't too keen on stayin' in town, and doesn't really care about... y'know, the continued livin' of everyone in there. We're sorta talkin' in circles fer a while, 'no you shouldn't go', 'I want to go', that kinda thing. Main issue is, we dunno who's gonna take care of her."
"We think on the temple fer a li'l bit, then I think Fib proposed that she get a job around town. And that's how we got to the casino. ...She's stayin' at the temple right now-- imagine Cyrus don't want her to be workin' full time down there, but if I could convince you... Yeah, part-time, you don't gotta give her food and shelter, just have her wipe tables or somethin' and pay her, that's all. Well, think on it, I'd feel a li'l better knowin' she had somethin' to fall back on. See you around, Orville."

Marine dlc heist/revenge takedown concept

So u/O_tunafish posted a quick post about a cool dlc concept this morning regarding duggan starting an oil tycoon company here in los santos and my brain went nuts with ideas so i spent about an hour making this rough draft of a cool dlc concept i came up with and wanted to get some thoughts and ideas on it before i went and made a full concept, please let me know what you think so far of this rough draft and let me know what vehicles you think would make a cool additin to this concept. It may be kinda all over the place i made this after working a 16 hour shift at work so im super tired but wanted to write it all down before bed so i didnt forget it Huge shout out to tunafish for the concept to go off of!!
Vehicle prices are unrealistic with rock* and the payouts as well but one can dream right!!!
Georgina calls lester to see if he wants to make some money while destoying duggans fortune and getting revenge for vincent. She asks if he wants to get back at the texan oil millionares recent buisness venture of a multi million dollar oil rig off the coast of paleto bay. By destroying his fortune, the cheng family can get their casino back.
She tells lester to enlist the help of those weird silent partners that did the diamond job and any other contacts he has.
To start the heist you must buy a new heist room within the casino penthouse, (500,000) and lester will contact you to meet at his garment factory. When you arrive you go over the heist. You must choose between a silent and sneaky approach or a aggresive approach.
Silent and sneaky approch: starting at the docks north of the military base you board a tug, that has been modified to look like a fishing vessel and you head off to the oil rig... about 900 yards out from the oil rig the host and up to three other players dive into the ocean and swim up to the main dock of the rig once there you ditch the scuba tank and go on foot through out the rig taking out guards of duggans private militia, during the clearance of the rig one player must go about the rig planting explosives in particular areas of the rig, the main docks, the four platforms, main engine room for the oil rigging devices and 5 spots along the main work platform. Once done clearing the rig and planting the explosives you must return to the maon docks where your getaway driver (Franklin clinton) is waiting for you in a new vehicle the dinghy mk2. You take off towards the building at the end of vespucci beach all while taking on duggans militia on boats and in helicopters. As you get away from the oil rig you detonate tye bomvs and blow up the rig causing duggans fortune to crumble like his rig.
Aggressive approach: You take off from the casino helipad in a helicopter heading north toward the rig, once you get toward the rig you rappel down to the main platform where you face the duggan militia head on, and start taking them out in the biggest gun fight in gta history, you than plant the bombs and get to the main dock where you meet your get away driver (again franklin clinton) in the getaway vehicle and hesd to the vespucci beach while taking on duggans militia aboard boats and helicopters.
Payouts are based on difficulty: Easy is 4 million dollars
Medium is 5.5 million
Hard is 7 million

[S] Marooned: Marquesas (Complete)

Down below a fishing boat are 16 Americans who are about to be marooned in the middle of the Marquesas, part of Tahiti’s mystical islands. Thousands of miles from the nearest continent this will be their home for the next 39 days. But this time the game is different, these survivors will be given no food, absolutely no rations. Each tribe will leave this ship with only the barest of essentials, two machetes, two cooking pots, two empty water containers, one frying pan, one filet knife, and one magnifying glass. They’ll be left to fend for themselves using the resources of the land and their own survival skills. It is the ultimate challenge! 16 strangers forced to work together to create a new society while battling the elements and each other. They must learn to adapt of they’ll be voted out of the tribe. In the end only one will remain to claim the million dollar prize. 39 days, 16 people, one survivor! This is Marooned: Marquesas.
The Cast
Maraamu Tribe:
Rotu Tribe:
Episode 1: After the marooning the two tribes arrive at their beaches and instantly the game starts being played. At the Maraamu tribe Savvy wants nothing more than for there to be an all girls alliance that dominates the game so she approaches Jay, Kelsey, and Lela and asks them if they would like to form an all girls alliance. Every single one of them is fully on board with an all girls alliance and so it is officially formed. Meanwhile on the Rotu tribe Juliette wants to make an alliance. She is a therapist and knows how to get along with all different types of people so she decides to make an alliance with a group very different people. This alliance ends up being made up of her, Don, Ida, James, and Moz. They all agree to stick together until the end. At the immunity challenge Maraamu blows Rotu out of the water and wins immunity sending Rotu to the first tribal council of the season. Back at camp a majority of the people in Juliette’s alliance want to vote out Zina because they don’t think that she’s a particularly valuable member of the tribe but Juliette has formed a bond with Zina and doesn’t want her to go so she convinces her alliance to vote for Gregory instead and at tribal council in a 5-3 vote Gregory becomes the first person voted out of Marooned: Marquesas.
Episode 2: After the last tribal council Rotu starts becoming a bit concerned about how much control Juliette has over the tribe. At the immunity challenge Maraamu once again wins, sending Rotu back to tribal council. After the challenge Don is hungry and so he decides to climb up a coconut tree to get some coconuts. Right when he’s about to reach the top of the tree he slips and falls all the way down. He lands in a terrible position breaking both of his legs. The instant that the medics get there they know that there’s no way Don is going to be able to continue in the game so they put him in a stretcher and put that on a boat and take him away. Don has officially been medically evacuated.
Episode 3:>! After the medical evacuation everyone on the Rotu tribe is sad. Don was a great presence around camp and was always willing to put in work. Everyone is devastated to see him leave the game the way he did. At the immunity challenge Rotu is finally able to claim victory, sending Maraamu to their first tribal council. Back at camp everyone is annoyed by Savvy. She spends most of the day laying in the shelter and complaining about the elements and has hardly lifted a finger the entire time that she’s been here. For the guys on the Maraamu tribe the decision is easy, Savvy needs to go but for the girls on the Maraamu tribe the decision isn’t nearly that simple. They all want to vote out Savvy but if they vote out Savvy the girls on the tribe will be down in numbers ruining their shot at having an all girls alliance run the game. In the end the girls decide to go with the guys and vote out Savvy so at tribal council Savvy is blindsided in a 7-1 vote.!<
Episode 4: On day 10 everyone is shocked when they are told to drop their buffs because there’s a tribe swap. At the first immunity challenge as new tribes the new Maraamu tribe manages to win immunity. Back at the Rotu tribe there is an equal number of both original Rotu people and original Maraamu people but Imaan does not like Juliette at all and after having to take orders from her for the first 9 days on the original Rotu tribe where Juliette was in power Imaan is fed up with her so she decides to flip and work with the original Maraamu people to blindside Juliette but Lela is still wanting there to be an all girls alliance and knows that if Juliette gets voted out then there will be an equal number of guys and girls in the game and the guys will most likely be able to take control. In order to avoid that happening she decides to flip and just minutes before tribal council she whispers in Juliette and James’s ears telling them to vote for Shawn. At tribal council this causes a 3-3 tie between Juliette and Shawn. On the revote nobody changes their vote causing a rock draw. Luk ends up drawing the purple rock and is out of the game.
Episode 5: At the start of episode 5 we get a confessional from Juliette where she talks about how she doesn’t like the fact that she had to be saved by Lela in the last episode. She is worried that Lela is going to start telling people that Juliette is only in the game because of her and if that happens then it could hurt Juliette’s odds of getting jury votes. Because of this Juliette wants to take out Lela as soon as possible. At the immunity challenge Maraamu wins immunity. Back at camp Julliette decides to attempt to reunite the 3 original Rotu people on the tribe by pulling Imaan back into the alliance. Imaan ends up agreeing to stick with original Rotu giving Juliette the numbers once again. Lela realizes that Juliette no longer has any interest in working with her so she goes back to Shawn and the two of them decide to vote for James. Meanwhile the original Rotu people struggle to decide who to vote out. Juliette wants to vote out Lela for reasons mentioned at the start of the episode but Imann wants to vote out Shawn because she knows that they are about to merge and thinks that he will be more threatening after the merge. They are never able to reach an agreement and at tribal council this causes a 2-2-1 vote with Shawn getting one vote and James and Lela both getting 2. On the revote Imaan gives in and votes for Lela causing Lela to be voted out in a 2-1 vote.
Episode 6: At the immunity challenge Maraamu wins for the third time in a row. Back at camp it seems clear that the 3 original Rotu people are going to stick together and vote out Shawn but Shawn doesn’t give up and works to form a bond with Imaan. This causes Imaan to consider voting with Shawn and forcing a tie but at the end of the day Imaan is too scared of drawing rocks again to force a tie and at tribal council Shawn is voted out in a 3-1 vote.
Episode 7: After 19 days of competing against each other the two tribes come together and merge. After the merge all 6 of the original Rotu tribe members decide to stick together and pick off the original Maraamu tribe members. At the very first individual immunity challenge Imaan wins individual immunity. After the challenge the 6 original Rotu tribe members decide to vote out Vito because they think that he is sneaky and could be very difficult to vote out down the road if he manages to get a grip on the tribe. Kelsey and Jay see the writing on the wall and in an attempt to get in with the Rotu people they too write down VIto’s name at tribal council causing Vito to be voted out in a 8-2 vote.
Episode 8: After the last tribal council Kelsey knows that she will most likely be one of the next 3 to be voted out and starts brainstorming ideas for how she can stay in the game. At the immunity challenge Jay wins immunity. Back at camp Kelsey decides that her best shot at staying in the game is starting a rumor so she begins telling people that Imaan has been talking about flipping on the Rotu people. This causes Ida to get angry so she confronts Imaan. This confrontation quickly escalates into a fight and soon the two have decided to target each other. Ida is quickly able to get all the Rotu people (Aside from Imaan) on her side and they all agree to vote for Imaan. Imaan on the other hand knows that she won’t be able to convince anyone to vote for Ida because Ida has strong relationships with everyone on the tribe so she instead decides to target James at this pivotal tribal council and hopefully take out Ida at the next tribal council. She is easily able to convince all of the original Maraamu people to vote for James but needs to convince at least one more person to vote for James in order to stay in the game. She views Zina as the person most likely to flip on the Rotu people and tries to convince her to vote for James but at tribal council Zina decides to stick with Ida and the Rotu people causing Imaan to be voted out in a 5-4 vote.
Episode 9: After the last tribal council people once again start viewing Juliette as a big threat. R2 realizes that this is something he might be able to use to his advantage in order to save himself and the other Maraamu people. At the immunity challenge Kelsey wins immunity. After the immunity challenge the 6 people from the new Maraamu tribe (Ida, Jay, Kelsey, Moz, R2, and Zina) come together and decide to form a new alliance and take out Juliette and James but the plan is very messy and most people aren’t sure whether they are voting for Juliette or James which allows Juliette to step in and save herself by telling Kelsey, James, Jay, and Ida to vote for Moz about 20 minutes before tribal council. Because Kelsey, Jay, and Ida are still not sure if the new Maraamu people are voting for Juliette or James they decide that this is the safer plan to go with and at tribal council Moz is blindsided in a 5-2-1 vote.
Episode 10: After the last tribal council R2 realizes that if he really wants the new Maraamu people to work together he’s going to have to step into more of a leadership role and reveal more of his cards otherwise they will never be able to put together a coherent plan and work together. At the immunity challenge Ida wins immunity. Back at camp R2 meets will all of the new Maraamu people and tells them to vote for James at tonight’s tribal council. Every single one of the new Maraamu people are fully on board with this plan and at tribal council James is voted out.
Episode 11: After the last tribal council Juliette is clearly on the outs and her only shot at staying in the game seems to be winning immunity but at the immunity challenge Ida wins immunity again. The odds seem completely stacked against Juliette but she doesn’t want to give up so she has a talk with Kelsey during which she explains how she feels like R2 is running the game and will probably get to the end and win. The fact that people think that R2 is running the game doesn’t sit right with Kelsey because she thinks that she is running the game so she decides she wants to blindside R2. About half an hour before tribal council she goes to Ida and Jay and tells them to vote for R2 but neither Ida or Jay want to vote out R2 so they warn him. When R2 hears that he’s being targeted by Kelsey he decides that the best option for him is to blindside her so he gets Jay, Ida, and Zina on board with this plan and at tribal council Kelsey is blindsided in a 4-2 vote.
Episode 12: Another tribal council comes and goes and Juliette is still on the bottom but now she knows that there are ways for her to break the alliance so she is more confident that she will be able to survive than she was in the last episode. At the immunity challenge Zina wins immunity. Back at camp the clear target is Juliette. Juliette tries to warn the girls that R2 is a big threat to win the game but this time the girls don’t fall for it and at tribal council Juliette is unanimously voted out.
Finale Part 1: After listening to Juliette talk about what a big threat R2 is, the girls realize that he really is the biggest threat in the game and they all decide to work together to vote him out next. At the immunity challenge Ida wins her third individual immunity sealing R2’s fate and at tribal council R2 is voted out in a 3-1 vote.
Final Part 2: At the final immunity challenge Jay wins immunity securing herself a spot in the final 2. At tribal council Jay votes out Ida because Ida is a major threat to win the game.
Final Tribal council:>! At the final tribal council Jay reveals that her strategy the entire game was to fly under the radar so that she wasn’t a target. This strategy worked flawlessly and is the reason that she received 0 votes against her the entire game. The jury really respects this so in a 6-1 vote Jay becomes the winner of Marooned: Marquesas.!<
My Thoughts: I thought this was a good season. The cast was mostly good with the female side of the cast being especially fun to watch. There were a few good blindsides with the best one probably being the Kelsey blindside at the final 6. My favorite part of the season was when Lela risked her life in the game to save Juliette and Juliette turned right around and voted Lela out on the very next episode. Juliette is truly the ice queen of Marooned. Jay was not the most exciting winner of all time but she played a good game and came just one jury vote short of playing a perfect game. Ultimately I don’t think that this was the best season of Marooned so far but it was still a lot of fun to watch.
Potential All Stars:>! Juliette, R2, Kelsey, Jay, Moz, Vito!<
Potential Second Chancers: Savvy, Lela, Don, Ida, Imaan, Luk
Previous Seasons:
The Australian Outback
Stay tuned for our next season Marooned: Thailand

[WM] Tales from the Thorngage Tavern (Mamma Mia, No More Ore, Motherly Love, Mountain Dungeon: Four-Quest Write-Up Extravaganza)

Mamma Mia!
DM: M.E H.
Players: Josh Z. (Sawyer), Jacob S. (Sixer), Nick H. (Hestos), Evan H. (Theneas), CJ J. (Naoise), Cameron P. (Cirio)
"Alright, alright, so it's me an' a couple of other folks. First job up here, so I figure it ain't nothin' we gotta be too worried about. Says we gotta find a baby and take it back to its momma. Sound easy enough? Well thing is, the 'orphanage' is really an 'animal shelter', and this baby is an owlbear cub. None of us are too eager to go messin' around with an angry momma owlbear, and we don't really know where to look."
"Lady says she found it in the woods, so good enough of a place to start as any, right? Sixer lives out in the woods-- hardly the strangest livin' situation up here--, so we set up camp there and start lookin' out for momma bear. Some snakes try to rear up on us, but they weren't no trouble. After a while, we find a lil' cave, and the cub seems to know what's up, so we try leavin' it there and stakin' out for momma to show up. Nothin' happens. Figure we ain't got no choice but to keep lookin'. "
"Cave leads into some old ruins, I dunno what for, but they're the same ol' story, full of traps. Just some floor puzzle or somethin', but the important part is that we find momma bear in a nest, and we put back the cub. For our trouble, she actually gave us some potions-- I still got mine actually. So we head on back to the 'orphanage'. Sixer may not lookit, but she's a robot, and she tried jumpin' on Hestos' back-- centaur fella. Went 'bout as well as you expect. Hey, barkeep, another round over here!"

No More Ore
DM: Ethan M.
Players: Josh Z. (Sawyer), Ben T. (Tangier), Eli W. (Alan Deere), Emma R. (Aevum), Daniel M. (Denis)

"Next boss was a lady passed out drunk on her desk. This may shock you, but I greatly admired her, though she don't take too well to when you point out her quirks. Had to go down to Radchaai, you ever heard of it? Never been myself, but my whole damn life I've heard bad stories 'bout the place. I'm inclined to agree, but for different reasons. All the roads are cobblestone, you got folks walkin' shoulder to shoulder, and those damn stairs-- why do city planners build up and not around?!"
"Couple of blacksmiths needed us to gather ore, they were havin' some trouble up on their big mountain. So we go up there, fuck around in caves, then we get jumped by ghosts and I almost bite it. Yeah yeah, muck it up, I'd like to see you deal with it! We come up near empty and have to try again the next day. This time we go way up high, and up there we find some little folks. Kobolds. We get a good number of ores from tradin' for shinies, so we figure, hey, where's the harm in sleepin' up here for the night?"
"Two giant spiders, big as that table over there. What do you think it looked like, it looked like a bigass spider! Takes a li'l bit of doin', but they go down, and next day we trade off for some more ores. Made a tidy profit, and I even brought home a souvenir. This beaut' right here. Yeah yeah, I know what I said, don't care for the city, but I ain't got no quarrel with the folks; good smithin' is good smithin'. Played some poker on the way there and on the way back. Word of advice? Don't leave a window open."
Motherly Love
DM: Ethan J.
Players: Josh Z. (Sawyer), CJ J. (Naoise), Ethan M. (Noizu), Dylan H. (Dust), Brandon Q. (Ziggy), Savannah S. (Tiff)
"Yup, 'nother round, over here. Now this--hic--this is where things get complicated. Some fancy fella comes'a knockin' this time-- wants us to go to a place called Hallavard, wayyy out west. And this bunch don't feel like payin' for a ride, so we end up walkin' the whole damn way. Now, I, I had met most of these folks before, but two of them were new. Ziggy was some... some kinda magic guy-- wizard or somethin', and then you had Tiff. Now, I didn't know much 'bout her, but she seemed nice enough, pretty girl who's somethin' of a goody two-shoes, didn't see no problem."
"So after 'bout two weeks, we pick up a boat to get to this bigass tree, right? I ain't never been on a boat before, and neither did Ziggy or Tiff, so we're all findin' our, fuckin' uh... sea legs? Sea legs. An', an' this tree, it's a whole damn city. Sound neat? Well it ain't, because we had to climb more damn stairs. Alright, it was kinda neat, but I don't care for climbin' all these damn stairs!"
"Who was it... ah, yeah, some elf fellas up at the top of the tree told us about terrorist cults in the city or somethin' like that. Said they were plannin' to hit the market, so we decide to head down that way. We split up, I head off with Tiff, and we get to talkin'. Two weeks and the whole time, I didn't realize she was an Iraklidis. Yes, that Iraklidis! The problem was that my folks and them gotta history, and Tiff? Tiff takes this whole thing real serious. She don't know me, but how am I s'posed to apologize for shit that happened before I was born?!"
"Uh, what happened? Oh yeah, I tried lookin' for some shady folks, found 'em, but they didn't lead us anywhere, the other four had better luck. They had bombs set up, but we caught 'em beforehand, and we managed to disarm the powder. Next day, 'round the scheduled time, we park up in the market, and the cult shows up right on cue. We take care of them, but one guy tries doin' some weird shit with his arm, and summons a fuckin'... Devil, or demon, or somethin', I don't give a damn what the difference is. Lucky for us, thing gets cut in half by the portal closin' when this guy gets knocked out."
"Tiff interrogates the guy, and after a long while, we don't know much 'cept that he wanted to waste our time. She did catch he says their cult god is their mother or somethin', all that stuff goes over my head. Noizu said not to get violent, but I can't help myself from introducin' his face to my crossbow 'fore we leave. There's a lower part of the city where some kinda... plant... thing came out-- swallowed Dust and was in general a real pain in the ass, but after a while it went down, mostly real tough to damage, but I don't gotta worry 'bout gettin' too close."
"We start headin' back, and I figure, hey, maybe I can bake Tiff a cake? Feel like she'd appreciate it as a peace offerin'. Yes I bake cakes, what's it to you? Bet I could outbake your ass anyday! Anyway, I try to ask what kinda cake she likes, the others hear it, now I owe like four folks cake. Without eggs or milk. Yeah, go figure, maybe you'll get some ideas 'fore me."
The One Mountain Dungeon I Promised Over the Summer pt. 1
DM: Ethan M.
Players: Josh Z. (Sawyer), Eli W. (Wyk), Idan H. (Fib), Josh D. (Beryl), Peyton L. (Genevieve)
"So... So the, the uh, next thing is, we go to Radchaai... and there's an Iraklidis there... again... this one's Tiff's grandma, girl named Cynic tells me she's real, fuckin' uh, headstrong, but she seemed amimable... amibable? Amicable enough. No, she's an Aaracockra, of course she's an Elf! Whose human grandma do you see goin' around on... fuckin'... stuff!"
"We go back to Radchaai, but this time we don't go down the... the stairs. So it ain't too bad, I guess. Police chief or somethin' says they want us to map out the big mountain. The one? From the ore? But lower, y'know? And unlike all these, y'know, elves, and uh... Whatever Wyk was, I can't see for shit down there. So yeah."
"God, how much shit did we fight? There were these fuckin' uh, big... bird... things... Big birds, that's what they were! And some nasty slime things, and these... fire people and fire bats and uh... yeah, some weird shit under there. There was trees and light like 3 miles down or somethin', it was weird. Wasn't all bad, there was this uh... skeleton brushing its... hair? It didn't have hair, but there was also this uh, this magic sword that said uh... stuff. I need to brush up on Genki... It's a book about-- it doesn't matter! It said stuff, alright?! And there were these, these harpies and some rough lookin' folk, but they weren't no trouble if we handed over supplies, and there were some kobolds down there... Y'know, from up there? Earlier?"
"Interestin' folks, never met any of 'em before this job... Fib's got uh... he's got, uh, bongos... I should play guitar with him. Yes, I do play guitar! It's just, fuckin', been a while! And Beryl's alright, turns into spiders a lot, and you know them. Helped me see in the dark, I really needed that. We mapped out the whole floor, so we headed back up and went home, didn't get no pay from the chief, but we got to keep all the uh, stuff, we found down there."

"And yeah, that's... that's the, uh, the thing... about it... That's about it, I mean. I'm s'posed to be savin' for a casino... Not mine, it's, uh, this... this new casino that's comin' out... yeah. You've been real helpful, you want a... want a horse? I gotta horse... But I gotta pay the... the fee for... Hey, bartender, can I get uh..."
[At this point, Sawyer passed out at the bar. He was not brought home until the following morning.]

Campaign: Azania - South Africa

Below is what I have created for my upcoming campaign. They will be mainly playing in Cape Town in Azania.
- Most of this information has been created by me, as there was not a lot of "cannon" game information in the books. where there was info, I tried to use it as much as possible. (but I also had to make it mine, so...some liberties have been taken).

My questions are what do you think about it, should I change or add anything...or is it a nice starting point for what players would know about the nation and city they live in.

Azania (South Africa):
The Azanian Confederation was formed in 2040 when the Cape Republic, Oranje-Vrystaat, Trans-Swazi Federation, and Zulu Nation decided to combine into one nation.
It fully participates in the Global SIN Registry

The whole central and northern area is on a great plateau
· Northern Azania is almost all rain forest
· Easterly and center Azania is all arid desert
· Center Azania is mostly savannah and scrublands
· Westerly and center Azania is all plainlands
· Southern coast of Azania is varied and mountainous
There are gold mines and diamond mines that give Azania it’s wealth
· It is not uncommon to see slaves and indentured servants
· Generally, the climate is temperate (remember that the seasons are opposite of North America)
· It doesn’t rain often, but when it does, it rains for a long stretch of time.
o This doesn’t include the far northern and the eastern region around Pretoria and Zulu
o This also doesn’t include Cape Town that has a dragon that makes it rain
There are several highways that crisscross the nation (The below are the ones that are still mostly intact and maintained)
· The N1 is the fastest route to and from Cape Town to Pretoria
o The “No-Oners” is a gang that is found between Cape Town and Pretoria and frequently travel the N1 looking for those targets that are easy pickings. They are responsible for smuggling and trafficking the majority of contraband between the cities.
· The N2 is along the south coast from Cape Town
· The N7 will take you north up towards farmlands where it abruptly ends in a crater
· The N12 breaks from the N1 and takes you north through farmlands to the “Central Kalahari Reserve”
o The “Grey Coats” are a gang that operates from where the N12 breaks north, and highway road travel is safe if you pay the tolls that they enforce throughout the stretch. They are not that large though and will stay away from protected targets.
· The N3 will take you to and from Pretoria to New Hlobane
A super railway system runs the entirety on the country, and the main line runs from Cape Town to Pretoria
· It runs semi close to highway N1 (running next to it at a few stretches and runs a couple miles away at others)
· This rail system is protected and well maintained
· It is also instrumental for getting workers, tourists, and cargo between the cities
· English and Afrikaans are tied for the most known/used languages
o English is more prevalent in the large cities and Afrikaans is more prevalent everywhere else
· The second most used language is Portuguese, and the third language is German
· The largest language spoken with in the Wakyambi Elves is Zulu
· After that; it is crime languages (Russian, Italian, Cantonese) and dialects (Swazi, Tsonga, etc.)
Flora and Fauna:
· The biodiversity here is too numerous to list, but all the standard African critters are present
o Awakened creatures are in excess, take a guide or ranger with you
§ Those that stray far from the highways and roads end up missing
Cape Town:

If someone could describe Cape Town in a single sentence it would probably be…
· A land where riches such as diamonds, gold, and uranium spring from the soil like savannah grass, life is still the cheapest of commodities and people are still desperate enough to indenture their offspring to corporate strip mines.
It is not the biggest city in Azania, but it is the most diverse and the capital of the country, as well as being the home to the most elite and powerful creatures in the nation.

Robben Island:
· Robben Island is an island located on the table shelf and is approximately four miles northwest away at its closest.
o By boat it takes approximately three and a half hours to ferry there, as there are many maritime hazards.
o It is most notably known for the military base and the prison it houses
§ It also has a small airport and community of military family members
Neighborhoods (the bowl):
Those that live in the bowl are not necessarily any better off then those that live in the fringe, they just get away with more.
Some well-known locales:
· Visible from almost anywhere in Capetown, the blue harbor swarms with ships of all flags.
· This is the city’s seaport and despite Mujaji’s attempts, this remains in the hands of pirates and gangs.
· However, with the presence of corporate district offices, there is a common set of unspoken rules that keep trouble to a minimum.
· Victoria Wharf Mega-mall
· Cape Town Customs Office
· Two Oceans Aquarium
Mouilli Point:
· This neighborhood lies west of the waterfront, but still on the coast and lies within the harbor, and it also houses the large stadium (Green Point Stadium) where several sports are played.
· Several elite condominiums and resorts have also been built here.
· Home to upscale fortified gated estates of the super wealthy.
· This is also the home of the largest park in the city.
· Metropolitan Golf Club
· Green Point Stadium
· The Granger Hotel
· This area has seen the most renovation and revitalization in the past decade with an uncountable amount of nuyen poured into it.
· It rivals other large city downtowns like Seattle, Detroit, and Berlin in way of scope and verticality.
· Several large corporations have headquarters or district offices here, as well as housing large mega-mall/apartment complexes.
· Kirstenbosch Botanical Garden (Biotech greenhouse dome)
· Castle of Good Hope
· Cape Town City Municipal Buildings
· Arcade Café (BaClub)
· The Gin Bar (BaClub)
· Publik (Dance Club)
· Quiksotic Train Terminal
· Ares Macrotechnology Capital Building
The Gardens:
· This neighborhood is located south of Mouilli Point and is home to middle/upper-class families and tourists.
· The closer you live to the mountain, the nicer houses you will find, and the closer to the coast you will find apartment complexes.
· This district is also named after its many gardens, botanical works of art, and luxurious fountains.
· Newmark Hotel and Garden
· Protea Zoo
· Stella Varis Garden and Fountain
· South of the Garden along the coast and tucked away from the drek of city life you can find Castlen.
· There are few ways to get to this uber-rich neighborhood and all are closely monitored. There is a stretch for commercial…
· To even work as a servant in this neighborhood, you have to go through a vigorous background check.
· The Crystal Fairway (Golfcourse)
· The Roundhouse (5-star restaurant)
· Bungalow 52 (Dance Club)
· This neighborhood is located south of the downtown district, and has some of the best nightly views, too bad it is overpopulated.
· This area would be the slums of the bowl, with houses practically built adjoining and on top of each other.
· Those with the most money can afford the houses closer to the mountainside and thus upper manses with views.
· De Waal Park (and accompanying Molteno Reservoir)
· Marko’s Killa’ Party (Outdoor Club, Amphitheater)
· The Lions Hotel
Neighborhoods (the fringe and sprawl):
For all the money spending going into the neighborhoods of the “Bowl”, the rest of the sprawl has been left to filth and decay
Some well-known locales:
Lower Addeley:
· East of Waterfront and northeast of Longmarket, the “Low-ady” is mostly industrial shipping and industrial manufacturing
· This is also where the airport is located.
· It has been rebuilt to accommodate leisurely activities.
Far north, is where the dismantling of old ships happens, they are run-a-shore and those that want, get to work on them.
· Cape Town Airport
· Brooklyn Tower “the Brook” (Mega-mall)
· Buffelsfontein Hotel
· This area is actually four neighborhoods that all border each other where the N1 and N7 highways intersect.
· These areas are mostly lower-class poor and industrial neighborhoods, that most choose to forget or look the other way.
· Summer Green: Spearhead Business Park
· Summer Green: Chemira Tek HQ
· Edgemead: De Akker Pub (Bar)
· Edgemead: Cape Town Community College
· Acacia Park: St. John’s Church
· Acacia Park: Maitland Cemetery
· Glenwood: Planet Bar (BaClub)
· Glenwood: N1 City Mega-Mall
· This neighborhood lies east of downtown and is one of the more affluent (but still middle-class) and commercial areas of the fringe.
· It also could be because it is pretty much just a huge bazaar and one can find pretty much anything here for a price.
Tourist and criminals travel these streets and visit these locales.
· Indra (Dance Club)
· Dunn’s Dungeon (BaClub)
· Magica Roma (Bawell known magic shop)
· The largest neighborhood in the fringe, it is located east of Vesperdene and is like a small city in its own right.
· West of the N7 is mostly made up of lower-class apartment complexes and east of the N7 is middle-class suburbanite homes.
There is a downtown that spans the whole distance of the N7 within the boundaries of this area.
· West of N7: Star Holiday Mega-Apartments
· West of N7: Neo-Net Grid Housing
· West of N7: Morningside Mega-Apartments
· East of N7: GrandWest Casino and Resort
· East of N7: Renegades Pub (Bar)
Gugulethu (the Gut):
· This area is located south of Vesperdene and is a slumland.
· Whereas not as bad as Longmarket, it is still the bottom of society and slummy
· Belmont Square (series of Mega-Apartments)
· Cambridge Quart (series of Mega-Apartments)
· Rondebosch Commons (Park)
· This neighborhood is located south of the Pinelands and east of Gugulethu.
· This is also where a lot of gang activity takes place, as does smuggling and black-market importing.
This is a neighborhood where even Lone Star will refuse to go to answer calls of criminal activity.
· Mostly slums and nobody ever goes there to visit
· These are mostly just metal shacks huddled together.

Organized Crime:

Mujaji recently decimated the powerful crime families, in an order to stem their illicit activities, this has left a large power vacuum in the city, that criminals and shadowrunners alike are weighing the options to take. There are three factions that have seemingly survived the “purging” and are vying for control of the cape.
· With the deaths of the boss Anthony Ferraro and underboss Killian O’Neill, the Mafia has been in an inter-political war where the “capos” are struggling to decide on a leader.
o Joseph Ferraro claims he has the greater entitlement to the spot, as his Uncle was the boss.
§ Joe is also rumored to be the richest and rumored to live in the “Castlen” neighborhood.
o Sean O’Neill is demanding he is the rightful heir to command, as he is the son of the underboss.
§ Sean is rumored to control the largest force of mobsters.
o Nicolas Panchini is claiming that it is time for new blood and ideas, as the last regime brought death.
§ Nick makes sure to get any rumors squashed but ask around everyone has ideas.
· The Vory were also decimated and lost a lot of their command; however, they were quick to hash out new leadership quickly; and in doing so have also been able to take territory from the Mafia.
o It is rumored that the new “Prakhan” (leadeboss) is “Vetka Artov”, she used to be the “Obshchak” (security overseer)
§ This is a tall muscular female troll, no one messed with her before, and now even more so…
· The “Blue Lotus” Triad survived and has quickly claimed with force the old Yakuza territories of Vesperdene
o It is rumored that have a powerful backer assisting them.

There are eight main gangs that reside within and battle for neighborhoods; then there are several minor subsidiary gangs that control smaller “blocks” within those larger main gang territories. Below are the gang names and within that will be listed a few minor gangs they control.
· The “Drek-Heads” reside in and claim the northern part of the “Lower Addeley” as their own. It is rumored that the Drak-Heads are being led by Luis Barreto, a rumor that he vehemently denies. And no one has been able to expose this rumor to be the truth.
o The “Scrappers” control the criminal enterprises of “Dismantlers Corner” north of “Lower Addy”.
o The “Picaroons” reside in the “Racine Block” of the “Lower Addy” and are known for carjacking and piracy.
· The “Clowns” used to be part of the largest gang in the entire nation, the “Hard Time Kids”, but a recent schism has wrenched them apart. They are now known as the Clowns and despite the name are just as bad, if not worse than they were. They reside mostly in the “Longmarket” but are found in the “Pinelands” too.
o The “Jesters” reside in the “54th Block” of the western “Pinelands” and are more small-time criminals than anything else.
§ The 54th Block is also the location of the “Morningside Mega-Apartment Complex”
o The “Ha-ha Boys” reside in “Beggar’s Point” in “Longmarket” and are more violent than the clowns.
· The “Harvesters” are mostly found in the Matrix where they steal and extort the common wageworkeslave. Outside of the Matrix they reside in southern “Buisenkant” and deal in counterfeiting, Loansharking, and gambling.
o DotEXE” works for them outside of the bowl and resides in the “Frankfort Block” of Vesperdene.
· The “Tusks” are primarily an ork and troll gang that will sometimes allow those that are not orks and trolls entrance if they prove their worth and dedication to the gang. They reside in within the “Acacia Park” region of the crossroads.
o There are no smaller gangs that work directly for the Tusks.
o The Tusks associate with many gangs and on any given day they could be an ally or an enemy.
· The “Reapers” are the only major gang that requires you to be awakened to join. They mostly deal with the occult and some even call them a cult with their rituals and practices. They reside in “the Gut”, but their influence is felt through-out the entire city by way of the astral realm.
o The “Spirit Guides” are an organization that claims no affiliation with the Reapers, however, most of the known members of the Reapers were once Spirit Guides. The guides are a pseudo religious group that worships astral creatures. They have “lodges” located all over the city. However, unlike the Reapers they will recruit non-awakened.
· The “Draak Elwe” are a group of gang bangers that consider themselves trophy hunters more then a street gang. They call Vesperdene their home, but travel throughout the city and nation hunting the Zulu Wakyambi and other; quote, “over-abundant species’.
o There are no smaller gangs that work directly for the Draak Elwe.
· The “Red Demons” are the city’s resident go-gang. They reside and strike bystanders along the northern part of the N7. This leads to clashes with the Drek-Heads and the scrappers. Lone Star has also upped its manpower in this region, but with an already tight shift of officers working night and day, it has been hardly an improvement.
o The “Speed-Freaks” are a gang that deals with primarily moving cargo safely for a cost. They can be found in any blackmarket where one would need to get things into or out of city limits.
o The “Road-Master” is a gang in his own right, although there are many who take up the mantle of road-master within it this gangs ranks, it is believed that there is an original person, an old shadow-runner, that controls the far northern stretch of N7, by the boarder through military like force. No one has ever seen him or has there been a recent accounting of an attack.
· The “Sisters” were recently run out of Acacia Park and their church, the famous St. John’s Church, by city municipalities and have moved to the “Summer Green” region of the crossroads. They are a religious gang that is all female and is militant and brutal.
o The “Crusaders” are the militant arm of the Sisters and are just as violent and vicious as their historic counterparts.
Pretoria-Witwatersrand-Vaal (Johannesburg):

Northeast of the center of the country you will find the remains of Johannesburg, a once great city is now just a huge slum encircling the inner city reserved for the elites and administrators that run the labor camps.
· This is the largest city in Azania, but that size comes from two cities merging and the vast sprawl that extends from the center
Leadership (movers and shakers):

The neighborhoods are broken into zones, these zones have names associated with them, but can be commonly identified by numbeletter
Zone “A” and “B” are both inside the massive walls, the other six zones are numbers and represent 1/6th of the outer portion of the city, alphabetically.
Zone A – (Randburg – dual inner circles ):
· This is where the elite and rich live, and it is protected as such.
· Most of this part of the city is clean and white
· Travel to and from and even through in some places is closely monitored and check pointed.
There are no ground passageways outside of this zone that lead outside of the walls, that are not heavily monitored.
Zone B – (Johannesburg – outer circle)):
· This where the uppemiddle class and also the servants live.
· Travel through-out this area is as free as any other city, however, there are check points to move outside of the walls.
· Lone Star has a national large headquarters here.
· The largest “Urban Brawl” stadium is located here and spans several city blocks

Starting clock-ways (north) and going around...
Zone One – (Tembisa):
· This is mostly commercial and lower-class to middle-class residents that live in this zone.
· This section is built up and is mostly made up of multi-story buildings and well-kept streets.
Those that visit Pretoria for work or pleasure will often stay here if they cannot afford the inner circles.
Zone Two – (Kempton Park):
· Mostly lower-class residential, and unmaintained parks dot this zone with habitation.
· This glorified slum is not as densely populate as zone 04 or 05, and as such, the shacks are a little more well build and most are built on a stone/brick foundation and have a second or third story.
· The further you get away from the city This zone is farmland.
Zone Three – (Alberton):
· One can find mostly slums and industrial parks here, it is not uncommon for large caliber weaponry to be brandished here with no repercussions.
· For a price though, you can rent personal security while there.
· The “king” controls this zone as well and has his own personal security force that he employs to keep the peace.
Zone Four – (Soweto):
· This cesspit and slum, is also the largest zone, and extends out to the Driefontein Mine
· This zone is controlled by slums Ganya Ulwazi, the self-proclaimed “King of the Slums”. As such no work gets done without his approval and assistance.
· This zone is mostly comprised of tightly condensed shacks.
Zone Five – (Roodepoort):
· This is all lower-class with a few strips of slumlands near the south
· This zone is mostly farmland and that land acts as a barrier from the slum of zone 04 and the nicer zone 06.
· Parts of the southern region and the farmlands of this zone are controlled by the “King” and his “Pretorian Guard”
· It is crucial that the food crops are maintained and defended.
Zone Six – (Steyn City):
· One of the smaller zone, it is sandwiched between Pretoria and “The Cradle Game Reserve”
· It has some of the best gardens in any of the outer zones and a lower-class population that works diligently to keep and maintain the look. However, they do not take kindly to visitors or tourist.
· Everyone here feels a duty to pitch in and help out.

Organized Crime:
· Most of the criminal activities are handled by the gangs of Pretoria
o They constantly work together to make sure not one gang gets too big to take control, and this is all rumored to be orchestrated by one man. The “King of the Slums”
o There is a rumor that this is enhanced by the vast wealth exchanging hands and no one wanting to rock the boat
· The Metropolitan Police Force is also a well-paid elite subsidiary of Lone Star and does its best to keep crime to a minimum throughout the city and the subsequent zones.

There are three main gangs within the city of Pretoria and one that plies in criminal activities but rumored for the good of the people…sort of like the old stories of Robinhood.
· The “Hard Time Kids” reside in Alberton (Zone 03) and are the original gang before the schism that broke the most powerful into the two most powerful and largest in their respected cities.
o The “Bucket Brothers
· The “Tusks” that reside within Pretoria are a colony gang that broke away when those from Cape Town started allowing non-ork and non-trolls into their ranks. They reside in Styen City (zone 06)
o Like their counterparts, they are too violent to work with any minor gangs for too long.
· The “Stutzer” are a white only branch of the Humanist Poli-club that works exclusively in South Africa. They reside mostly in Kempton Park (zone 02). They attack everyone that isn’t human and white.
o The “5th Reich” is a German only branch of the Stutzer and a lot of members are in both gangs, you must speak German as a natural language and be able to trace your lineage. It is rumored that they are the ones that are actually in command.
· The “Pretorian Guard” are as much a gang as any other group of misfit criminals. They reside primarily in Soweto (zone 04), but their reach extends all the way into the capital and inner circle. They act as defenders of the people more than violent hoodlums.
o The king is a Wakyambi (elf) and is believed to have been in the city before everything went down 60+ years ago. Thus, he has a lot of pull and influence within the city and its residence.
Zulu Nation:

Far to the east along the coast is the home of the Zulu tribal Nation of Elves. Visitors need to get special permits to travel past their boarders into their capital of New Hlobane; and even if you are an elf your chances are not good. There are even Wakyambi that are not even allowed to enter. Being banished is a fate worse than death to most nationals.
The N3 is the highway that cuts through the capital of New Hlobane
Leadership (movers and shakers):
Celogal Xanth (m (elf) Prince)
Eragor Kant (m (elf) National Military General)
Larry Walker (m (elf) Chief City Relation Advisor)
Arien Lace (f (elf) Chief Royal Attendant)
Grant Evans (m (human) Pretoria Diplomat and Ambassador)
Yalaris Moot (f (elf) Cape Town Diplomat and Ambassador)
Camanchi (f (shapechanger) Willowton District Alderman)
Wami Chundo (m Lincoln Meade District Alderwoman)
Olas Munga (m (elf) Loop District Alderman)
Reidrey Hado (m (ork) Downtown District Alderman)
Eris Jalamba (f (elf) Clarendon District Alderwoman)
Popau Lolula (m (elf) Scottsville District Alderman)

These areas are broken into districts that each have a representative on the “High Seats” these members along with the price oversee the affairs and direction that the city will take.
· Willowton
o This district is northeast of the loop and is comprised mostly of industrial factories and the slums that surround them. When one pictures slums, they picture Cape Town’s Longmarket or Pretoria’s Soweto neighborhoods, but this would be more like lower-class in those cities. The nation of Zulu prides itself on maintaining their empire.
· Lincoln Meade
o This district is located east of the loop and is comprised of middle-class families and large parkland, that of which rivals the loop. It is one of the newer districts and is still in development, thus the lush natural aesthetics that still remain.
· Loop
o The Loop is the district that binds all the other districts together, it is at the center of the city and all the major roadways converge in this area. It also has the most parks and gardens of any other district.
· Downtown
o This district is northwest of the loop and is all larger buildings and vertical gardens. The city is surrounded by an unrelenting jungles with many unpleasant creatures and this makes it hard for farmers to keep land safe. So downtown has become the largest food depository in all of the nation. At least 2/3rds of all the high rises have some sort of agriculture built into them.
· Clarendon
o This district is located north-northeast of downtown and is mostly middle-class single-family homes broken into suburbs. Most of the working class live in this zone and the houses are the oldest in the city.
· Signal Hill
o This district is west of downtown and the loop and is a gated community and a small town in unto itself. It is also where the royal family lives in their castle and surrounding them are the uber-elite mansions.
· Scottsville
o This district is located south of the loop and is includes mostly tightly packed lower-class suburbs and a few middle-class houses sprinkled throughout the area of those that haven’t moved out yet. This district also has the most apartment complexed save for downtown.

Organized Crime:
· It is alleged that technically there is no organized crime within the Zulu nation. This is speculated with rumors and whispers that the Zulu nation is in fact a criminal organization that actually controls the nation.
· This conspiracy theory is backed by stories of Zulu nationals in other parts of the country intertwined within other criminal networks.

· The “Pack” is the only one main gang within the city boundaries and it likes to keep it that way. They are rumored to be unofficial defenders and protectors of the city and the nation. They can be found throughout the whole nation.
o It is mostly comprised of shapeshifters and unbound spirits

Having Bachelor/Bachelorette parties over New Years in Savannah.

Hey guys! We have a group of about 14 friends that are all staying in Savannah for a week over new years. 2 Members are getting married a few months later and we're throwing them their bachelobachelorette parties. They aren't the types that want strippers but still love to get drunk. I'm in charge of the bachelor party, and my good friend is in charge of the bachelorette.
So far for the guys I have:
  1. Going golfing
  2. Going on the casino boat
What other cool things are there for guys in savannah?
The girls don't have any real plan yet so any input is really appreciated. Cool ideas for the town in general would be awesome and also what is the coolest place/thing we can do on new years?
Thanks for reading guys!
